As we all realize how blessed we were, we cannot go without recognizing how our neighbors to the east bore the brunt of Hurricane Michael. Immediately local groups and organizations stepped up to gather supplies and help those in dire need. Below is a list of efforts of which we are currently aware. Please check directly with the organizers for additional information and specific needs. Chamber members are encouraged to tag the Chamber in their Facebook post to help us direct people to relief efforts. 


Typical Donation Sought: Water, diapers, wipes, nonperishable food items, gas, generators, tarps, gift cards, towels, personal hygiene products, first aid items, cash and volunteers.



In addition, many of our realtors are working with displaced families to find housing. If you have a resource and want to help, let us know and we will help connect you. All of our local schools are gearing up for displaced students. These students will need supplies. 


We know we could not capture everyone who is geared up and helping but want to serve as a resource for those who wish to donate and who are looking to partner with other organizations who are. We are an amazing community because of the love and compassion we have for our neighbors.
