The Niceville Young Professionals met on Tuesday,
August 7th for their monthly networking meeting. The meeting was
led by Adam Vafides, PrimeLending
- The Schutt Team, Committee Chairman. Guest speaker
was Supervisor of Elections, Paul Lux who spoke about voter
security and the various was to vote in the upcoming primary on
August 28th including early voting and voting by mail.
The NYP group currently has 50 members and is a
networking group for area young professionals who are interested
in making lasting and meaningful contributions to our community.

Niceville Valparaiso MAC donated funds to the 919 SOW Picnic at Post'l
Point on Eglin AFB, Saturday August 4th. Special thanks to MAC
Chair, Mark Clark, Okaloosa
Gas for bringing out their Community Gas Grill and for
his hard work at the event.
The mission of the MAC is to support the local
military mission and enhance the relationship between the military
and civilian communities. The committee is limited to 60
members, there is a waiting list. Let us know if you would be
interested in more information in 2019!
Christian School on being the Chamber's Education
Committee School of the Month. Education Committee Member Steve
delivered a basket of goodies for the teachers and staff to enjoy
on the first day of school in appreciation for all that they do.
RBCS is one of the highest ranked private schools in the country. Go Knights!
The mission of the Education Committee is to support
and show appreciation to our local schools. If you are interested
in getting more involved in the Education Committee call the
Chamber at 850.678.2323 and join us at our next meeting on
Tuesday, September 11th, 9 am at the Chamber office.
The Ambassadors of the Niceville Valparaiso Chamber held
their monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 1st. The Ambassadors
are the official welcome committee and Chamber volunteers. They
make sure that event registration runs smoothly and assist new
members in navigating our Chamber.
If you would like to get more involved, expand your
contacts and give back to the community, consider being a Chamber
Ambassador. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September
5th, 11:30 am at the Chamber office. A complimentary lunch will be
provided by Costa Enterprise, Inc. McDonald's.
