2019 Chamber Golf Classic - Registration Now Open!

The Chamber Golf Classic is the Chamber's most popular event of the year! Teams will sell out quickly (limited to 33 teams, only 29 left) and table sponsorships sell out even faster (Limit 9, only 5 left).

Second Wednesday Breakfast

 

You could feel the love in Niceville at the February Chamber Breakfast! Sponsored by The Manor at Blue Water Bay, it was a standing room only event with over 200 attendees including Leadership Okaloosa. Matt Baltz, Administrator at The Manor at Blue Water Bay, showed a video and provided an update on the locally-owned and operated 120-bed skilled nursing, rehab and assisted living facility. 

 

2019 Chairman of the Board, Mike Guidry, Reliance Test & Technology, LLC gave the monthly "You Rock" Award, sponsored by BayArea Awards & Engraving, Inc., to Donna Guajardo, Emerald Coast Financial Team in recognition of her member recruitment efforts!

School of the Month

 

Education Committee Members presented Principal Mike Fantaski, Lewis School with a basket of goodies & fresh fruit to show the teachers & support staff their appreciation for their hard work and dedication to their students.

 

The Committee was given a tour of the K-8th grade school, built in 1970 and currently operating at max capacity serving 775 students. They have 10 portables and and are a Title 1 program school, with 58% of students receiving free or reduced lunch. The school also serves approximately 100 special needs students and are known in the district for their compassionate care and resources for students who need individualized educational plan.

 

Lewis School is in need of volunteers and mentors. Located just outside Eglin's Main Gate, please contact the school if you would like to help or to sponsor their athletics programs.

 

 

Thank you to all the new members, representatives and Board members who attended the Member Benefits Lunch, sponsored by Rocky Bayou Christian School. In addition to enjoying a great lunch from Corner Cafe, attendees received a complete overview of all the programs, services and opportunities available with their Chamber Membership.
