Let's Do Lunch

Thank you Chesser & Barr, PA for sponsoring a great Let’s Do Lunch! We had a fantastic turnout at Tisano’s Garlic Grill, for this popular Chamber event. In addition to networking, attendees played a fun “Strange Florida Laws” game and there was plenty to talk about! Our sponsor, Mike Chesser also introduced a new partnership between the local schools, UF/IFAS Extension and Kiwanis to enrich the community through a tree planting initiative.

Military Affairs Committee

The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) recently donated $500 to the Special Forces Association, Chapter 7 to support their Red Empire Beach Day in June. This donation will help offset expenses for the group to spend a day relaxing with their families. MAC members thank them for their service and dedication to our country and also appreciate their community support. MAJ Nick Caputo, Executive Officer, 3rd BN, 7th SFG (A) is pictured with MAC Chairman, Randy White of Northwest Florida State College and Teresa Halverson, The Manor at Blue Water Bay who is serving as an Honorary Commander with the 7th Group this year.
